Participate in quality improvement activities as well as providing training and education to clinicians across multiple disciplines to achieve quality education and safe clinical practice.

As a Visiting Medical Officer, you may be eligible for a range of financial benefits on appointment to a regional Hospital.

NNSWLHD provides a diverse range of public healthcare through 12 hospitals and multi-purpose services, 21 community health centres and other facilities.
Tweed Valley Hospital Is a Major Referral And Teaching Hospital Located In The Heart Of The Network Of Hospitals And Health Facilities Across The Tweed-Byron Region Also Including Murwillumbah District And Byron Central Hospitals.




Tweed Valley Hospital Opened On 14 May ****.
The Current Facilities Include more operating theatres and recovery spacesexpanded emergency departmentenhanced medical, surgical and mental health servicesenhanced ambulatory care services including more outpatients clinicsnew interventional cardiology servicenew radiotherapy service as part of a new integrated cancer care service.
The Location Northern NSW is a diverse region spanning from the jacaranda city of Grafton in the south, to the golden beaches of Tweed Heads in the north.
The district is located on the traditional lands of the Bundjalung, Githabul, Gumbaynggirr and Yaegl nations.

Eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Specialist Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist, and/or specialist international medical graduate pathwaysCurrent Colonoscopy and Gastroscopy certification or recertification with the Gastroenterological Society of Australia or ability to obtain certification within 6 months of commencementDemonstrated recent clinical experience in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the role delineation of the serviceDemonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and provide leadership of a teamDemonstrated effective clinical communication through the use of information technology and written, verbal and interpersonal skillsDemonstrated commitment to teaching, continuing education, research and quality improvementAvailability to participate in an on-call roster and to respond on site within a reasonable time Need more information?
