Reporting directly to the Head of Operations, you will take ownership of the Workplace Health & Safety Management System while overseeing facilities and infrastructure that support a high-performing production environment.

The Opportunity
As the WHS Manager, you will be responsible for leading the end-to-end Workplace Health & Safety function while ensuring facilities remain safe, compliant and operating efficiently.
This is a hands‐on leadership role that combines operational safety, compliance, facilities management and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, develop and continuously improve the Workplace Health & Safety Management System.
Ensure compliance with all relevant Australian WHS legislation.
Develop and implement policies, procedures, risk assessments and safe systems of work.
Conduct workplace inspections, audits, incident investigations and toolbox talks.
Manage incident reporting, injury management and Return to Work programs.
Deliver engaging WHS inductions and ongoing training for employees and contractors.




Build strong relationships with operational leaders to drive accountability and positive safety behaviours.
Monitor, analyse and report on WHS performance metrics and compliance.
Conduct daily, weekly and monthly site inspections.
Oversee facilities, buildings, plant and infrastructure to ensure operational readiness.
Manage preventative maintenance programs, contractors, service providers and facility upgrades.
Support capital projects, expansions and infrastructure improvements.
About You
You are an experienced WHS professional who enjoys being visible on the floor as much as contributing to strategic business outcomes.
You'll bring:
Minimum three years' experience in a WHS leadership role within manufacturing, automotive, warehouse, industrial or production environments.
Strong knowledge of Australian Workplace Health & Safety legislation and compliance requirements.
Experience managing contractors, maintenance providers and external stakeholders.
Excellent investigation, auditing and risk management skills.
Outstanding communication and leadership capabilities.
The ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the business.
A proactive, practical and solutions-focused approach.
