About the Role
This full-time Psychologist position offers a rare chance to work within a multidisciplinary, culturally grounded team supporting Aboriginal children, young people and families.
You'll conduct high-quality assessments and deliver therapeutic support to clients ensuring support and care are informed, responsive, and culturally safe.
You'll work alongside caseworkers, carers, and family members within a multidisciplinary team to wrap the right support around every child.
Whether you're fully registered or provisionally registered,



you'll be supported by experienced senior clinicians who are passionate about excellence in care.
This is a full-time role, 5 days per week based across Liverpool and Rosebery.
Tasks and Responsibilities
Conduct a range of psychological assessments across the lifespan
Prepare clear, timely reports to guide care decisions and court proceedings
Provide trauma-informed and evidenced based counselling to children, parents and carers
Contribute to the development and review of Behaviour Support Plans
Deliver psycho-education and support to carers and families around attachment and behaviour
Engage in collaborative care planning with caseworkers and external providers
Participate in supervision, reflective practice and clinical development initiatives
Take part in service reviews, quality projects and knowledge sharing across the team
Valid NSW Working with Children's Check – Paid Worker
NSW Driver's Licence – minimum Provisional 2 (or equivalent)
Natitional Criminal History check upon commencement
Skills and Experience
Provisional or General registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Strong understanding of trauma, attachment and child development
Familiarity with a range of psychometric tools and therapeutic frameworks
High-level clinical writing and communication skills
Commitment to culturally responsive, family-centred practice
Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary, fast-paced setting
Genuine interest in improving outcomes for Aboriginal children and families
