This is an opportunity to join a high-risk, regulated operation based portside of Brisbane, where you'll play a hands-on role in driving a genuine safety culture across the business.
Reporting into the HSET Superintendent based in Townsville, you'll operate with a high degree of autonomy in your day-to-day, partnering closely with the Operations Manager on site to embed safe systems of work across a dynamic and demanding operational environment.
About the role:
Working independently across day-to-day HSE operations, with strong support and direction from your Superintendent
Partnering with the Operations Manager to drive practical, on-the-ground safety outcomes
Operating within a high-risk, regulated workplace where compliance and culture go hand in hand
What's on offer:
$120,000 - $135,000 + Super + discretionary bonus

What you'll bring:
3-5 years' experience in an HSE Advisor or similar role, ideally within a high-risk or regulated industry
Minimum Diploma in Work Health and Safety (or equivalent)
A genuine commitment to ongoing professional development, with openness to undertaking further training and qualifications as required
Strong communication skills and the confidence to work autonomously while keeping key stakeholders informed
A proactive, engaged approach - this role suits someone who is ready to commit and hit the ground running
