About the Role
Nick's Restaurant Group is looking for a reliable and experiencedHandymanto join our team.
This is a hands-on role responsible for carrying out general maintenance and repairs across our restaurant venues, ensuring our facilities remain safe, functional, and presented to the highest standard.
The successful applicant will be proactive, practical, and able to work independently while managing a variety of maintenance tasks across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out general maintenance and repair work across all Nick's Restaurant Group venues.
Perform preventative maintenance to minimise breakdowns and disruptions.
Complete minor carpentry, painting, plastering & tiling.
Repair doors, locks, furniture, fixtures, fittings, and equipment.
Assemble and install shelving, furniture, and other items as required.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests from venue managers.




Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance issues before they become larger problems.
Liaise with external contractors for specialised repairs when required.
Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a secure and organised condition.
Ensure all work is completed in accordance with workplace health and safety requirements.
About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
Previous experience as a handyman or in a general maintenance role.
Strong practical skills across a broad range of maintenance and repair tasks.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
The ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively.
A positive attitude, reliability, and a solid work ethic.
Good communication skills and the ability to work well with venue teams.
A current driver's licence (essential).
