We are seeking an experienced and organisedAccounts, Payroll Officerto join our team.
This role will be responsible for preparing and processing payroll inMYOB, managing staff rosters and time & attendance throughDeputy, and supporting the day-to-day HR functions of the business.
This is a hands‐on role suited to someone who is confident working in a fast‐paced environment and can manage payroll, rostering and HR administration accurately and efficiently.
Key responsibilities
Bank reconciliation daily, entering invoices , budgeting and costings
Process weekly payroll accurately in MYOB
Manage employee rosters, attendance and timesheets in Deputy (experience required)
Rosters, timesheets, leave, shift hours and payroll adjustments (experience required)
Maintain employee records, HR documentation and personnel files
Assist with onboarding, inductions and employee paperwork
Support HR matters including leave management, contracts,
warnings and general staff queries
Ensure payroll and HR processes comply with company policies and relevant awards/legislation
Liaise with managers regarding staffing, rostering and payroll matters
Prepare reports as required
About you
Previous experience in accounts, payroll , Rostering and HR administration
Strong working knowledge of MYOB payroll and MYOB accounting
Experience using Deputy for rostering and time & attendance
Good understanding of awards, leave entitlements and payroll compliance
Robust attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to handle confidential information professionally
Strong communication and organisational skills
Experience in manufacturing, food production or similar industry is highly regarded
