If you are currently studying a Certificate III, Diploma, or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education you could be eligible for a Queensland Qualifications Pathways Program scholarship with Goodstart, available in locations including Townsville, Mackay, Sunshine Coast and Cairns.
When you join Goodstart you'll gain meaningful rewarding work and eligible educators have access to scholarship funding to support their studies.
You could access:
- Up to $3,000 for those studying a Certificate III
- Up to $6,000 for those studying a Diploma
- Up to $25,000 for those studying a Bachelor's degree
Scholarship funds can be used flexibly.
Goodstart will work with you to tailor your scholarship to meet your personal needs.
You'll also receive wrap-around mentoring support from skilled qualified Goodstarters.
All of this is possible through our Qualifications Pathways Program QPP.
Eligibility
To be eligible for a Goodstart scholarship you'll need to:
- Be working in one of our Queensland centres
- Be an Australian or Current Zealand citizen,



permanent resident, or a temporary resident on the pathway to permanent residency with an eligible visa
- Have completed and graduated from secondary school
- Be able to meet entry requirements for an ACECQA approved qualification through your university or training provider
- Be enrolled in each unit by the census date unless otherwise agreed
- Not be receiving any other Department of Education scholarship or grant funding for the same course
Exemptions may apply for those living in border regions for example NSW but working in a Queensland service.
