Due to continued growth, they are looking for ahands-on Purchasing & Warehouse Officerto join their team.
This role involves a mix of Purchasing, stock control and warehousing.
This is afull-time, permanent and in-house position (Monday–Friday)with reasonable overtime as required.
The role reports directly to theProduction Operations Managerand plays an key part in keeping their operations running smoothly.
About the Role
This is a busy hybrid role that combinespurchasing and warehouse operations.
You will be actively involved in the day-to-day flow of goods through the warehouse while also managing purchasing tasks and stock control.
Your responsibilities will include:
Receiving incoming goods andaccurately receipting stock into the system
Putting stock awayand maintaining an organised warehouse
Picking parts for production jobs
Identifying stock usage through picking and thenordering replacement parts per the orders just picked
International purchasing and cost conversions
Stock control and regular stocktakes
Maintaining accurate records and inventory data
General warehouse duties and administrative support
Purchasingcustom products
About You
To succeed in this role you will need to beorganised, reliable and detail-focused.
While the inventory system they use is straightforward and easy to use, astrong eye for detail, especially with numbers is essential.
You will ideally have:
Experience inpurchasing and warehousing; this role is a mix of both
Stock Control and / or Kanban experience
Strong administrative and IT skills
Initiative to learn
Excellentorganisation and attention to detail
The ability to workhands-on in the warehouse as well as at a desk
A proactive attitude and willingness to take ownership of tasks
The ability to work well within a hands on andsmall, team-oriented environment
