We are looking for a passionate and highly skilled Head Barista to help launch and lead our new, premium coffee lounge in Victoria Park.
This role is ideal for someone who lives and breathes coffee, thrives in a fast-paced but quality-focused environment, and wants to play a key part in building something current from the ground up.
About the Role:
As our Head Barista, you will be involved before our official opening, working closely with the owners to:
Develop and refine a signature coffee menu
Assist in selecting equipment, beans, brewing methods, and suppliers
Establish workflow systems and quality standards
Train new staff and help set the tone for a high-end café experience
Once open, you will oversee daily barista operations, maintain consistency, lead the barista team, and uphold the premium standards of our brand.
We are looking for someone who:
Is deeply passionate about coffee, its craft, and ongoing innovation
Has multiple years of barista experience across a variety of cafés and styles
Possesses a robust understanding of specialty coffee, roasting, extraction, and menu development
Is a natural leader who can guide a team and improve efficiency without compromising quality
Brings energy, motivation, and professionalism every day
Holds a Cert II/III in Hospitality
Has a valid Food Safety Certificate
Is excited to grow with a recent café and help shape its identity from day one
