About the Role
As a Comms Technician, you'll work across a diverse range of customer sites delivering innovative technology solutions that support critical infrastructure and essential services.
Key responsibilities include:
Installation and commissioning of communications cabling systems
Deployment of cutting-edge cloud-based and IoT technologies
Installation and support of CCTV, security and access control systems
Delivery of audio visual and public address (PA) solutions
Planned, preventative and reactive maintenance activities
IT, communications and electronic security infrastructure projects
Participation in major rollout and upgrade programs
Supporting a broad national customer base across multiple industries
Maintaining high standards of workmanship, safety and customer service
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will bring:




Previous experience in communications, data or electrical installations
A strong focus on quality workmanship and attention to detail
Pride in delivering high-quality outcomes
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Robust troubleshooting and problem-solving abilityThe ability to work independently and within a team environment
A willingness to learn and develop across multiple technologies
Experience with Audio Visual, Security or Access Control systems (highly regarded)
IT networking and computer skills (advantageous)
Essential Qualifications
ACMA Open Cabler Registration Licence and/or Electrical Licence
Current Australian Driver's Licence
Construction Industry White Card
Full Australian Working Rights (Citizen or Permanent Resident)
