Lime Recruitment is currently working with a leading global mining group to recruit an experiencedProcurement specialist- Goods and services mining.In this role you will support the end-to-end procurement of goods and services for a remote site going through closure process.
We are seeking a commercially minded individual who thrives in a fast-paced workplace, builds strong stakeholder relationships, and delivers value through effective sourcing, contract management, and supplier engagement.
Key responsibilities
Manage end-to-end procurement activities across a diverse portfolio of goods and services, from demand planning through to contract award and supplier performance management;
Partner closely with site-based stakeholders to understand operational requirements and develop fit-for-purpose sourcing strategies;
Lead competitive sourcing events, commercial evaluations, negotiations, and contract formation activities;
Monitor supplier performance, contract compliance, and commercial outcomes to drive continuous improvement and value delivery;
Provide procurement advice and guidance to operational teams while ensuring adherence to company policies,



governance requirements, and procurement standards;
Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships that support safe, reliable, and cost-effective operations;
Support contract administration, reporting, spend analysis, and procurement planning activities; and
Identify opportunities to optimise cost, reduce risk, and improve supply chain resilience.
About you
Demonstrated experience in procurement and contracts management across goods and services categories;
Strong knowledge of sourcing, supplier management, contract negotiation, and commercial risk management;
Experience managing multiple procurement activities simultaneously within a complex operational environment;
Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and influencing skills;
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to make sound commercial decisions;
A collaborative approach with the ability to build trusted relationships across site and corporate teams;
High attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to work autonomously; and
Experience with SAP or similar procurement systems would be advantageous.
