Service Improvement Analyst – Ways of Working (Fixed‑Term, 10 months) at the University of Melbourne, Parkville, VIC, AU.

What you will deliver
Prepare clear, structured role and ways‑of‑working documentation aligned with agreed service models and outcomes.
Collaborate with Service Improvement Leads and project teams to clarify roles, responsibilities and expectations from designs.
Review inputs, synthesise findings and prepare design artefacts under guidance from the Service Improvement Lead.
Develop and maintain capability‑related documentation, including role expectations and inputs to learning and development plans.
Engage stakeholders to gather, clarify and document information that supports downstream HR and change planning.
Support workshops and interviews by preparing materials, capturing outcomes and translating discussions into structured documentation.

You may be a great fit if you
Hold qualifications or equivalent experience in service improvement, business analysis, systems thinking or related areas.
Bring practical experience supporting service improvement or service design initiatives within large, complex organisations.




Understand service improvement and design approaches and apply them to documentation, analysis and design activities.
Gather and synthesise qualitative and quantitative information to produce clear role and ways‑of‑working artefacts.
Demonstrate robust written communication, collaborative working style, and a growth mindset in evolving project environments.
