Finance Manager (Bookkeeper or Accountant)

About the role
Reporting to the Director, this position plays an integral part in ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and integrity of the financial operations.
Beyond month end reporting, you'll be hands on in the accounting function and support the Directors with strategic planning.
How you'll do this
Support with month-end activities to ensure timely and accurate production of management accounts.
Complete general ledger reconciliations, including prepayments, accruals, suspense, debtors, and creditors.
Maintain up-to-date financial procedures and identify opportunities to improve team productivity.
Manage supplier records and invoice approval processes to ensure payments are made within agreed terms.

A background in a Finance Manager or senior Bookkeeper role with a CPA / CA qualification highly regarded but not essential
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with effective interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution abilities.
Current Queensland "C" class driver's licence and ability to complete a national criminal history check.
