The Role
FHR currently have an opportunity for an experienced Programmer / Machine Operator (Brake Press/Turret Punch) to join our client located in Carole Park.
We have immediate starts available for the candidate who is successful in their application for this position.
Enjoy a competitive package of $90,000 to $95,000 (pending experience) plus super
This role offers work Monday to Friday, hours worked between 6am to 2pm

Key Responsibilities
Program, set up and operateLanteksoftware to generate CNC programs for turret punch and brake press machinery, ensuring accurate production of metal components.
OperateCNC turret punchmachines to manufacture sheet metal products in accordance with engineering drawings, specifications and quality standards.
Set up and operateCNC brake pressequipment, selecting the correct tooling and performing precision bending to required tolerances.
Conduct first-off inspections and ongoing quality checks using measuring equipment to ensure all finished products meet company and customer specifications.
Read and interpret technical drawings, work orders and production schedules to prioritise jobs and achieve daily production targets.
Perform routine machine maintenance, troubleshoot minor operational issues, and maintain a clean,



safe work environment while complying with all workplace health and safety procedures.
Skills & Experience
Proven experience operatingLanteksoftware for programming CNC turret punch and brake press machinery.
Strong hands-on experience withCNC turret punchingoperations, including machine setup, tooling selection, and quality inspections.
Demonstrated experience operatingCNC brake pressmachines, with the ability to interpret drawings and produce accurate bends to specification.
Ability to read and interprettechnical drawings, blueprints, and engineering specificationsto ensure precision manufacturing.
Strong commitment toworkplace safety, quality control, and continuous improvementwithin a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
