The role
In this role, you will provide end-to-end matter support across a broad range of property transactions.
You will play an important part in the smooth progression of matters from instruction through to completion, with responsibility for document preparation, searches, due diligence, settlements, and matter coordination.
Key responsibilities
Prepare, review and manage property transaction documents, including contracts for sale and purchase, leases, licences, disclosure documents and ancillary documents.
Conduct title, planning, statutory, ASIC, insolvency and litigation searches, and analyse results.
Support due diligence processes, including property portfolios and large-scale transactions.
Coordinate transaction milestones, critical dates and conditions precedent.
Liaise with land registry services regarding lodged documents and requisitions.
Arrange stamping of documents through relevant providers, including Infotrack.
Manage PEXA settlements, including PEXA Projects where required.
Prepare settlement adjustments and completion statements.
Act as a key point of contact for clients, agents, banks, brokers, government authorities and other external stakeholders.
Maintain accurate file records, manage document systems and support billing and matter management processes.
Contribute to continuous improvement of templates, systems and property processes.
About you
We are looking for someone with:
Strong knowledge of NSW conveyancing and property law processes.
Sound working knowledge of PEXA and electronic settlements.
A current NSW Conveyancer Licence, or relevant tertiary qualification.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
The ability to manage multiple matters and competing deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
A proactive, commercially minded and solutions-focused approach.
