Our Visitor program aims to reduce loneliness and isolation experienced by older Australians. You can help by offering your time and talents to a gentleman in his home in Burleigh.
The role
We need someone who can give up an hour of time each week to visit with this gentleman in Burleigh Heads. The gentleman was born in Holland, speaks English, and loves a walk around the neighbourhood. Visits are relaxed and social – chatting about his interest areas of hiking, maintenance and landscaping, playing cards, and hearing engaging stories from visitors. Visits at this stage would be Wed/Thurs after 10 am.
Need to know
On line training must be undertaken, and comply with any other WHS training if required.
