Maleny Golf Club – Sunshine Coast Hinterland

Maleny Golf Club is seeking a motivated individual to join our course maintenance team as an Apprentice Sports Turf Manager.

This role provides the prospect to complete a Certificate III in Sports Turf Management while gaining hands-on experience maintaining a high-quality golf course.

Key Responsibilities

• Golf course maintenance including greens, tees, fairways and rough
• Operation of turf machinery and mowing equipment
• Bunker maintenance and course preparation for play
• Irrigation operation and watering
• Pest, weed and turf health management (under supervision)
• Assisting with general course improvement works

About You

• Reliable with a robust work ethic




• Enjoy working outdoors
• Willing to learn and develop recent skills
• Able to work as part of a team
• Must have reliable transport and/or hold a current driver’s licence

Previous experience in turf, horticulture or landscaping is desirable but not essential.

This role forms part of a structured apprenticeship program (up to 3 years) leading to a Certificate III qualification in Sports Turf Management.
