Job Title

System Engineer

Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain monitoring, alerting, and self-healing automation to ensure the stability and performance of production systems.
Define and enhance hardware and system requirements, ensuring optimal infrastructure scalability and efficiency.
Build and improve automation tools and processes that minimize manual effort and optimize system operations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to test, validate, and deploy recent hardware and software solutions.
Develop and execute operational readiness and acceptance tests for current technologies entering production.
Manage and enhance infrastructure observability, ensuring proactive identification and resolution of system issues.




Participate in on-call rotations to resolve critical production incidents, ensuring minimal downtime and rapid recovery.
Continuously assess and improve operational processes to support growing workloads and evolving architectures.

Required Skills & Experience
3+ years of hands-on experience managing and troubleshooting Linux/UNIX systems.
Robust understanding of networking fundamentals — TCP/IP, DNS, routing, and load balancing.
Experience operating CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar.
Proven ability to diagnose and resolve issues across system layers: infrastructure, OS, networking, and applications.
Experience supporting cloud-based or distributed systems (AWS, Azure, or GCP preferred).
Demonstrated ability to anticipate, detect, and resolve performance or availability issues in production environments.
