About r.d Psychology r.d Psychology is a warm, collaborative and neuroaffirming practice supporting children and adolescents with Autism, ADHD, learning differences and complex emotional needs.
Our team of Clinical Psychologists, Psychologists and Neuropsychologists provides evidence-informed therapy and comprehensive assessment, helping young people understand their minds, recognise their strengths and feel confident, capable and understood.
We work closely with families, schools and other professionals to translate clinical insights into practical strategies that make a meaningful difference in everyday life.
About the Role We are seeking a Clinical Psychologist or Registered Psychologist who is passionate about working with neurodivergent children, adolescents and their families.
The role may include:
Providing individual therapy using a strengths-based, neuroaffirming approach
Conducting psychological, developmental and learning assessments
Developing thoughtful case formulations and practical support plans
Collaborating with parents, schools and multidisciplinary professionals
Preparing clear, high-quality reports and clinical documentation
Contributing to a supportive and team-oriented team environment This is a flexible contractor position based in Kingsford, NSW,



with a hybrid arrangement incorporating in-person clinical work and opportunities to complete suitable administrative tasks from home.
About
You You are a warm, thoughtful and collaborative psychologist with a genuine interest in supporting children, adolescents and neurodivergent young people.
You will ideally bring:
A strong foundation in psychology and experience working with children, adolescents and families
Experience or interest in cognitive, educational and socio-emotional assessment
The ability to translate assessment findings into clear formulations, practical recommendations and meaningful support plans
Confidence supporting anxiety, mood, behavioural and complex emotional presentations
Skills in evidence-informed therapeutic approaches, such as CBT, ACT, psychodynamic or family-based interventionsA commitment to neuroaffirming, trauma-informed and culturally responsive practice
Strong communication, interpersonal and report-writing skills
The ability to manage a caseload responsibly and maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation
An interest in reflective practice, peer consultation and clinical supervisionCurrent AHPRA registration as a Psychologist is essential.
Clinical Psychology endorsement, or progress toward endorsement, will be highly regarded.
