The Medical Patient Journey Partner (M‑PJP) is a local, customer‑facing role based in Sydney with a national scope, focused on Haematology. As the medical affairs face of Roche, you will unlock value along the patient journey, providing scientific leadership, stakeholder engagement, evidence generation, and compliance with a non‑promotional intent. The M‑PJP reports to the Country Medical Director and delivers a quality‑use‑of‑medicines focus, safeguarding better outcomes for patients.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as a scientific expert for the Company’s Haematology pipeline and marketed products.
Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders, clinical investigators and academic researchers.
Provide scientific education and training to healthcare professionals, internal teams and partners.
Support clinical trial development, providing scientific insights and collaborating with clinical teams.
Effectively communicate complex scientific data, including clinical trial results, to diverse audiences.
Gather and analyze field scientific and clinical insights and provide feedback to shape product strategy.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and ethical standards while maintaining accurate documentation.
Qualifications
University degree in Life Sciences or a Healthcare professional qualification.
Advanced degree (e.g., PhD, MBA) is a plus.
5+ years of experience in medical affairs or related field (such as MSL) within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
Up‑to‑date knowledge of Medicines Australia Code of Conduct and Haematology therapeutic area expertise.
Strong strategic and tactical implementation of health solutions, including clinical research experience.
Excellent interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence, and empathy.
Solid business acumen and expertise in commercialization, medical and customer experience.
Valid driving licence and full eligibility to live and work in Australia.
Employment Requirements
The role is based in Sydney but covers a national scope. A valid Australian driving licence and eligibility to work in Australia are required. Visa or relocation support is not available.
