Natural Food Sterilisation Technologies Pty Ltd This excellent opportunity will be offered on a Permanent Full-Time basis at 38 hours a week.
Perks Professional growth A friendly team environment with a great community care spirit Task & responsibilities Develop, implement and review occupational health, safety and environmental management systems, policies and procedures.
Identify workplace hazards, conduct risk assessments, and implement effective risk control measures.
Ensure compliance with occupational health, safety, environmental and public health legislation and relevant industry standards.
Provide professional advice on workplace health, safety, environmental management and regulatory compliance.
Conduct workplace inspections, audits and incident investigations, and recommend corrective actions.
Develop and deliver occupational health and safety training, including safe work practices and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Monitor workplace safety performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives to minimise workplace risks and environmental impacts.
Promote ergonomic practices to improve employee wellbeing and reduce the risk of workplace injuries.
Oversee waste management and pollution prevention programs to support environmental compliance.
Coordinate rehabilitation and return-to-work programs for injured employees.
Experience conducting incident investigations and root cause analysis.
Experience developing Safe Work Procedures (SWPs), risk assessments and training material.
Knowledge of ISO ****x and/or ISO ***** management systems would be advantageous.




Qualification & experience Bachelor in Work Health & Safety, Occupational Health & Safety, Risk Management or a related discipline.
Demonstrated experience in WHS within food ingredients manufacturing, food production, FMCG or related manufacturing environments .
Experience working within environments requiring compliance with HACCP, GMP and food safety standards .
Minimum of 2year's experience in a WHS advisory or similar role within manufacturing, food production or FMCG.
The right to work in Australia Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong time management skills Experience in food ingredients blending, packing, warehousing and distribution operations .
Understanding of WHS risks associated with manufacturing plant, automated processing equipment, forklifts, warehousing and manual handling.
