Store Person – Renewable Energy Warehouse
Mega Watt Power
Coffs Harbour, Coffs Harbour & North Coast NSW
Warehousing, Storage & Distribution
Full-time
Are you the person who notices when something is out of place?
Do you like a warehouse that is organised, accurate and ready for the next job, not one where people waste time looking for equipment or discovering too late that essential stock has run out?
Are you reliable, practical and comfortable taking responsibility for the daily movement of stock, tools and equipment?
Mega Watt Power is a family-owned renewable energy company based in Coffs Harbour.
First established in ****, we work across solar, battery storage, electrical services and renewable energy projects throughout NSW and beyond.
As our operations continue to grow, we are looking for a capable and dependable Store Person to take ownership of the day-to-day activities within our warehouse.
This is a hands-on role reporting to the Warehouse & Procurement Manager.
You will be responsible for ensuring deliveries are received correctly, stock movements are recorded promptly, job materials are prepared accurately, and the warehouse remains clean, safe and organised.
This role would suit someone who takes pride in doing things properly, notices problems early and understands that an efficient warehouse plays an important part in the success of every project.
What you will be responsible for
Receiving deliveries and checking goods against purchase orders and delivery documentation
Checking quantities and identifying damaged, incorrect or missing items
Booking stock in and out accurately and in real time
Picking, packing and issuing parts, materials and components for jobs

Preparing equipment and materials for field teams and project deliveries
Ensuring returned stock, unused materials and equipment are recorded and stored correctly
Coordinating the movement of warranty items, repairs and supplier returns
Maintaining clear and accurate identification and storage of stock
Monitoring commonly used parts and consumables and flagging low stock before shortages occur
Supporting regular cycle counts and formal stocktakes
Keeping the warehouse, storage areas and loading zones clean, organised and safe
Assisting with loading and unloading deliveries
Checking tools and equipment and reporting damage, calibration requirements or maintenance issues
Working closely with the Warehouse & Procurement Manager and operational teams to ensure job requirements are ready when needed
Following company procedures and workplace health and safety requirements
About you
You do not need to know everything about renewable energy when you begin, but you must be willing to learn about our products, equipment and systems.
Previous experience in a warehouse, stores, logistics, trade supply or similar hands-on environment
Good attention to detail and a methodical approach to stock handling
The ability to maintain accurate records and follow established processes
Confidence using computers, inventory systems and basic Microsoft Office programs

The physical ability to safely carry out regular warehouse duties
Good communication skills and the confidence to raise discrepancies or stock concerns early
A practical, cooperative attitude and willingness to assist others
The ability to organise your own daily workload and complete tasks without constant supervision
A forklift licence and experience handling electrical, construction, solar or trade-related products would be highly regarded, but are not essential.
What matters to us
Takes ownership rather than waiting to be reminded
Records stock movements as they happen, not later
Treats company equipment and materials with care
Understands that accuracy is just as important as speed
Keeps the warehouse organised as part of the job, not as an occasional clean-up
Communicates early when something is missing, damaged or running low
Works well with tradespeople, project teams, suppliers and office staff
Wants to become a trusted and dependable member of the business
Why join Mega Watt Power?
Mega Watt Power has been operating for more than 30 years and continues to grow within the renewable energy sector.
You will join a supportive, established family business where your work will have a visible impact on the efficiency of our warehouse, our project teams and the wider company.
This is an opportunity to take genuine day-to-day ownership of an important function, learn more about the renewable energy industry and build a secure role within a growing organisation.
If you are organised, reliable and take pride in maintaining an accurate and well-run warehouse, we would like to hear from you.
