About the Role
Reporting to the Platform Manager - Home Operations, you will lead a specialist team managinghigh-severity, high-value property claimsandinternal disputes.
This is a role for someone who thrives in complexity—balancingtechnical claims expertise, customer outcomes, risk management, and commercial performance, while leveraging insights and continuous improvement approaches to optimise results.
This role requires deep, hands‐on experience in General Insurance (GI) Property Claims—this is essential.
What You'll Be Responsible For
Leading Complex Claims & Technical ExcellenceOversee end-to-end management oflarge-loss and complex property claims
Ensure accuratepolicy interpretation, scope validation, and cost assessment
Guide teams through technically challenging claims involving structural damage and high-value exposure
Partner with loss adjusters, builders, and technical experts to drive best outcomes
Driving Smarter, Data‐Informed DecisionsUse performance data and insights to improve cost, quality, and turnaround times
Identify trends, risks,



and opportunities across claims portfolios
Apply acontinuous improvement mindsetto enhance processes and outcomes
Dispute & Escalation ManagementLead resolution ofinternal disputes (IDR)and complex escalations
Navigate sensitive situations with customers and stakeholders

What You Bring
Essential: GI Property Claims ExpertiseMinimum 5+ years in General Insurance Property Claims
Strong experience in:Complex and large-loss claims
Dispute and escalation management
Builder and repair network engagement
Technical CapabilityDeep understanding of:Building and construction practices
Policy coverage and interpretation
Scope validation and cost control
Leadership & Commercial AcumenProven experience leading teams in high‐pressure environments
