About the Role
We are seeking a Diploma-qualified Early Childhood Educator to join our team on a full-time basis.
All three of our early childhood services are located on the same site in Ashfield.
You will work within a strong team of early childhood professionals, alongside a highly experienced Centre Director, and collaborate regularly with allied health professionals embedded in the service, creating practical, on-the-job learning.
In this role you will:
Create a secure, calm, and inclusive learning environment for children
Plan and teach in ways that are meaningful, play-based, and aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework




Work collaboratively with allied health professionals as part of the centre's integrated approach to children's learning and development
Build respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues
Contribute to high‐quality programs that meet regulatory standards and contemporary practice
Step into the Responsible Person role when required, with clear leadership support
About you
You will bring:
An ACECQA-approved Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent)
Experience working with children from birth to school age in a centre-based setting, with a preference for preschool experience
A strong understanding of child development and inclusive practice
Good written and verbal communication skills
A genuine interest in ongoing professional learning
Practical knowledge of the National Quality Framework
Approved Child Protection training (CHCPRT001 or CHCPRT025
Current First Aid Certificate (HLTAID012)
Mandatory national child safety training (Geccko)
All employees at The Infants' Home must have valid working rights in Australia and hold a current NSW Working with Children Check.
