Pay Rate / Salary Package
Based on a standard 58.5-hour week, the package is structured as:

$4,575 per week + super

$238k per year + super (based on the standard roster)
The Role
Working within the maintenance team, you'll be responsible for keeping a large-scale heavy industrial manufacturing facility operating at peak performance.




This is a hands‐on maintenance position with a strong focus on preventative maintenance, breakdown response and plant reliability across a wide range of heavy processing equipment.
Day to day you will be involved in:
Preventative and breakdown maintenance across heavy industrial plant and processing equipment
Mechanical fault finding on hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systems
Diagnosing equipment failures and responding to breakdowns to minimise production downtime
Assisting with machinery installations, modifications and plant upgrades
Welding, fabrication, grinding and general mechanical repairs
Supporting continuous improvement and plant reliability initiatives
Requirements
Trade qualification in Mechanical Fitting (Cert III Engineering – Mechanical Trade or equivalent)
Experience within heavy industrial manufacturing, recycling, steel, quarrying, cement, mining or similar environments
Mig & Stick welding
