Responsibilities
Food preparation for morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and late afternoon snack
Safe food handling for allergic/anaphylactic children
Kitchen cleaning and dishwashing
Cleaning of office, staffroom, foyer and other areas if needed
Cutting of diverse meats, fruits and vegetables
Food safety and hygiene procedures




Maintain kitchen's hygiene

Key Competencies
Food Safety Supervisor Certificate is a must
Cert III in commercial cookery or Cert IV in hospitality
Current Working with Children Check
Availability for shifts between 8:00am and 2:00pm Monday to Friday
Ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively in a team setting
Strong understanding of food safety and food allergies
Food Handler Certificate is ideal but not essential
