Qualifications & Experience
Minimum of 1 year experience in private specialist clinics or a similar role
Competency in Genie patient record management system and Eclipse billing is an advantage
Working knowledge of Medicare and Private Health Fund billing protocols
Positive working knowledge of spoken and written English
Ability to deliver high-quality customer service through excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Calm, polite, empathetic and professional demeanor
Ability to multitask and work autonomously and also as a team member to share duties and tasks
Ability to problem-solve and learn on the job
Excellent attention to details
Tasks & Responsibilities
Answering calls, appointment scheduling, data entry and medical record management (filing/scanning)
Liaising with hospitals and patients - organising surgery quotes, theatre bookings and respond to potential patient enquiries (over the phone and emails)
Invoicing and receipting payments (EFTPOS, Genie & Eclipse)
Maintain office in a tidy fashion
Ordering medical supplies
