Bicycle Queensland (BQ) is Queensland's leading voice for bike and scooter riding.
We are one of the largest and most influential community riding organisations in Australia, with over 12,000 members and 40,000 supporters.
We represent and influence decisions that impact people who use bikes for transport, well‐being and recreation.
About the Role
This is a new role to help develop, progress and deliver our member services, support communications to members and supporters, and assist our CEO with operational and administrative tasks.
We are a small team who help each other.
Our customers are members, event participants, supporters, other stakeholders and the general public.
You will assist in providing customer support including incoming and outgoing calls, emails, communication across Meta platforms and our website, as well as in person at our office and at events and activations.
You will assist in maintaining and developing the CRM, ensuring accuracy and identifying and resolving anomalies, and assist with media and communications.
In addition, you will support the CEO with correspondence, emails, reports, presentations, and meetings, and assist with campaigns, projects and policies where required.
To be successful in this role you will bring:
exceptional customer service and administrative experience;
working knowledge of CRMs (thankQ is desirable); and
You will also:
be digitally proficient in the use of MS Office software, in particular Excel;
have experience in the Meta platform, web skills and social media moderation;
be proactive, self‐motivated and use initiative;
be able to manage your time effectively and meet tight deadlines;
have proven ability to work collaboratively within a small team while delivering excellent outcomes;
hold a valid driver's licence, Blue Card, first aid and CPR qualifications (or obtain prior to or upon employment); and
have transport capability to drive to event locations.
