Baker Motors is seeking an experienced Workshop Controller or Senior Technician ready to step up and lead our Albury workshop floor. You’ll work alongside our Fixed Operations Manager to drive workflow, mentor technicians, and keep the shop running efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
Workflow & Dispatch: Allocate job orders based on skill levels to maximize productivity.
WIP Management: Keep jobs moving, minimize carry-over work, and hit delivery times.
Technical Mentorship: Support techs and apprentices with complex diagnostics and quality control.
Interdepartmental Flow:



Work with Service Advisors and Parts to ensure seamless turnarounds.

What We’re Looking For
Trade Qualified: Cert III in Automotive (Light Vehicle) or equivalent.
Experience: Background as a Senior Tech, Lead Diagnostic Tech, Foreman, or Workshop Controller in a dealership setting.
KPI Awareness: Solid grip on technician efficiency, productivity, and labor rates.
License: Valid driver’s license (Manual required).
