About the Role
We are seeking creative and enthusiastic casual educators to join the College's ROOS Care (Outside School Hours Care) team and share their passion for supporting the growth and development of young children.
This role is ideal for university and TAFE students studying education, early childhood, teaching or related fields, offering valuable hands‐on experience in a supportive and rewarding environment.
As an Educator, you will build positive relationships with children and families while contributing to engaging and meaningful educational programs.
Working collaboratively with the Director of Early Learning and the ROOS Care Lead Educator, you will support the delivery of high-quality care and learning experiences in accordance with the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines and the National Quality Framework.

Duties
As an Educator, you will support the creation of an innovative learning environment in which children feel comfortable and encouraged as our youngest learners at the College.




Work collaboratively with the team to deliver engaging and meaningful educational programs;
Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with students, families, colleagues and the wider college community;
Actively contribute to the ongoing enhancement and improvement of programs and practices;
Support compliance with the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Framework;
Assist with observing, documenting, and reflecting on the children's development, skills, interests, and learning experiences.
Skills and experience required
Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (preferable)
Completed GECCKO training
Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
Working with Children Check (Paid Blue Card)
Experience working in early childhood education or outside school hours care
Understanding of the National Quality Framework and Early Years Learning Framework
