About the role
We are seeking general hands to be responsible for all stages of the chicken lifecycle as well as the buildings in which the birds are kept.
Key responsibilities include:
Handling of eggs, incubation, & hatching
Care of chicks & birds
Harvest birds for vaccine production
Clean, decontaminate and maintenance of bird houses & equipment
Record-keeping
Skills & experience
Poultry experience (advantageous)
Ability to cope with the physical demands of the role
Ability to uphold a high standard of animal welfare and care
