Utilex Group Pty Ltd is seeking aQuality & Technical Managerto join our team inMolong, NSW.
This is afull-time positionthat plays a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our operations through rigorous quality control, technical oversight, and continuous improvement initiatives.
You will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance whilst supporting the broader operational objectives of the organisation.
This role offers the chance to lead quality initiatives and establish yourself as a key strategic contributor to the business.
What You'll Be Doing
Developing, implementing and maintaining our Quality Management System (ISO ****:****).
Planning and conducting product testing and quality checks for new products, plus ongoing quality checks on existing products.
Leading the technical and quality evaluation of new products and new suppliers, working closely with sourcing/procurement.
Reviewing supplier technical documentation, test reports and compliance certifications, and providing sign-off before products launch.
Leading WHS/OHS management in line with ISO *****:**** — risk assessments, incident investigations, training and compliance.
Conducting internal audits, managing non-conformances and driving corrective actions.
Partnering with our external consultants on the progressive rollout of new policies, manuals and procedures.
Delivering training and building a strong quality and safety culture across the business.
Reporting on quality, safety, product and environmental performance to senior management.
What We're Looking For
Diploma/Degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Product Development, WHS or a related field, plus Certificate IV in WHS (or equivalent).
3–5+ years' experience in a Quality, Technical or WHS role, ideally in manufacturing, import or production settings.
Experience in new product development and technical/quality evaluation of suppliers, including reviewing test reports and compliance documentation.
Solid working knowledge of ISO ****, ***** and/or *****; Lead Auditor certification is a plus.
Confident communicator who can train, influence and engage people at every level of the business.
Strong organisational and technical skills, with a genuine passion for quality, product and safety.
