We are looking for an enthusiasticPart-Time Chefto join our team at a welcoming aged care facility inChapel Hill, QLD.
Reporting directly to theChef Manager, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality dining experiences for our residents in a supportive and rewarding environment.
Shift Schedule:Tuesday to Thursday from 9:00am to 5:30pm.What You'll Need: A currentFederal Police Check, or willingness to obtain one

Skills and experience
3+ years'experience in a similar role -aged care experience highly regarded.
Cert III in commercial cookery desirable
Experience in large volume cooking as well as work autonomously and in group settings
Reliable and punctual
Collaborativeand team player
Ability to multi-task and perform work within deadlines.
Experienced in ordering, delivery and handling/control of stock.
Empathy and respect towards aged care residents, staff and clients.
High level of QA, WH&S;,



HACCP and Food Safety knowledge.
Must have reliable transport.
Key responsibilities
Ability to produce high quality meals in line with aged care food service/HACCP guidelines, Quality Assuranceprocedures including low and high care residents.
Assisting in menu design, changes and implementation.
Assist withputting away of deliveries & general kitchen clean up duties.
Responsible for preparation of special diets such as puree, gluten free and texture modified etc.
Excellent organization skills and the ability to multi-task.
Function within a busy kitchen whilst working harmoniously with the team.
