Mechanical Trade Assistant
The Role:
Asist with the refit of a Vessel
Use of power tools - Grinders
Preparation of aluminium
High Pressure Blasting
Void and tank cleaning
Removal of but not limited to:Tyres, Nut and bolts
Awnings and side covers
Seats and life rafts
Assist with engine removal
Pipe work and removal of valves
Criteria:
Valid driver's licence
Previous Experience in similar TA roles either Marine or Mechanical (Highly Desirable)
Competent and experienced on Power tools
White Card
Highrisk Work Licence: LF or Rigging (Desirable but not required)
Strong understanding of both mechanical and electronic systems
Positive manual dexterity and physical stamina to work with tools and in various positions.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Current National Police Clearance - Clean record
Pass a Drug & Alcohol Screen Test
Role is Casual/ Temporary
