Due to continued growth and a strong project pipeline, we are seeking an experienced Communications Technician to join our Sydney team.
The Role
As a Communications Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, termination, testing and commissioning of communications infrastructure and technology systems across a variety of commercial environments.
Key Responsibilities
Installation and termination of structured cabling systems
Fibre optic installation, testing and fault finding
Installation of Audio Visual and Unified Communications equipment
Testing, labelling and commissioning of communications infrastructure
Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
Maintaining high standards of workmanship, safety and compliance
Working collaboratively with project teams to ensure successful project delivery
About You




Current Open Cabler Registration Licence with relevant endorsements
Construction White Card
Current Australian Driver's Licence
Experience installing and terminating structured cabling systems
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills
Fibre optic experience or accreditation highly regarded
Solid attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
