Maintenance Welder – Site-Based Wetherill Park
Our client is a National Leader leading manufacturer of surfactants and supplier of phosphates in the Australian market.
Our comprehensive product range services the industrial, construction, mining, food and household & personal care markets.
We're currently seeking an experiencedMaintenance Welderfor site-based work, with a strong background instainless steel and mild steel welding.
This role is ideal for someone confident in both fabrication and on-site installation, with a focus on pipework and structural components.

MONDAY TO FRIDAY WORK
WETHERILL PARK LOCATION
OCCASIONAL OVERTIME WHERE REQUIRED
7am – 3pm
$***** per hour + overtime rates if required
3 month interim contract with potential permanency for the right candidate
Key Responsibilities
PerformTIG and MIG weldingon stainless steel ********) and mild steel.
Weld and patch pipework ranging from1⁄2" to 6"in diameter.
Fabricate current pipework systems, supports, and frames.




Carry outon-site installationof fabricated systems.
Fit and installvalves, flanges, and other fittings.
Requirements
Welding Tickets and or trade cert
Proven experience withTIG/MIG weldingin industrial or chemical plant settings.
Strong knowledge ofstainless ********) and mild steelwelding techniques.
Ability toread and interpret fabrication drawings.
Awareness ofsafety procedures and PPErequirements in high-risk work environments.
Experience withpipe fittingandmechanical installations.
Previous work inchemical, oil & gas, or industrial sectors.
Forklift Licence -Highly Desirable
Confined Space Certification -Highly Desirable
EWP (Elevated Work Platform) -Highly Desirable
