An exciting opportunity is available for experiencedBoilermakersto join a leading structural steel fabrication company based inNarangba.
This is a workshop-based role working on the fabrication of structural steel columns, pillars and components for commercial and industrial projects.
With immediate starts available and plenty of overtime on offer.
Duties
Fabricate and assemble structural steel components from engineering drawings
Perform MIG and Flux Core welding to a high standard
Cut, grind and finish fabricated steel components
Read and interpret technical drawings and fabrication plans
Operate workshop equipment, overhead cranes and forklifts (where licensed)
Maintain a clean, organised and safe work environment
Work collaboratively to meet production deadlines
Skills & Experience




Trade Qualified Boilermaker (Cert III Engineering – Fabrication Trade)
Proven experience in structural steel fabrication
Solid MIG and Flux Core welding experience
Ability to accurately read and interpret engineering drawings
Experience using fabrication equipment and workshop tools
Reliable with a strong commitment to safety and quality
Ability to work independently and within a team
