My Care Living is seeking a calm, reliable, and experienced Disability Support Worker to provide consistent support to a participant in the Chermside area. This role requires someone who is patient, emotionally steady, and has strong communication skills.

We are looking for a female support worker in line with the participant's preference for personal care and support.

What You’ll Be Doing
Provide personal care and daily living support with patience and consistency
Administer medication safely and accurately according to support plans
Support mobility and transfers using hoists and safe manual handling
Maintain clear, accurate, and timely documentation and progress notes
Respond calmly and professionally during periods of emotional or physical distress
Build trust through transparent and compassionate communication
Work collaboratively with allied health professionals and the support team
Shifts are adaptable and include days, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.

What We’re Looking For
Experience as a Disability Support Worker in NDIS settings




Confident and competent with medication administration
Strong attention to detail with documentation and support plans
Excellent communication skills - clear, calm, and effective
A consistently positive, patient, and professional attitude
Calm and resilient when supporting participants with complex needs
Confident using hoists and performing manual handling
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
Current First Aid & CPR
Reliable car + valid driver's licence with comprehensive insurance
Female support worker (participant preference for personal care and support)

Highly Desirable
Experience supporting participants with complex behaviours or high emotional needs
Experience in high-intensity disability support
Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent)
