Amaze Redbank Plains is looking for a Trainee Educator to join our warm, inclusive and multicultural team.
This is an exciting opportunity towork while you study, gaining practical experience in an early learning environment while progressing towards yourCertificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care.
You don't need to have years of experience.

What You'll Be Doing
Work alongside experienced Early Childhood Educators and learn through hands‐on experience.
Support the education, care, safety and wellbeing of children aged 0–5 years.
Build positive and respectful relationships with children, families and your colleagues.
Participate in play‐based learning and contribute to children's learning and development.
Learn how to plan, document and reflect on children's learning as part of your studies.
Develop your understanding ofEarly Years Learning Framework (EYLF)and National Quality Framework.
Participate in professional development, workplace learning and your required study commitments.
Contribute to a team culture built aroundRESPECT, collaboration, inclusion and belonging.
Develop an appreciation and understanding ofFirst Nations cultures and perspectives.
Work + Study + Build Your Career
This is anemployment‐based traineeship opportunity, meaning you will learn both on the job and through formal training with an approved Registered Training Organisation (RTO).
You will be expected to take responsibility for your studies, including completing workplace learning, assessments and other course requirements within the required timeframes.
Amaze will support you to develop your skills and confidence as you work towards your qualification.
Government‐funded traineeship arrangements may be available to eligible applicants, subject to the applicable Queensland Government funding requirements, the qualification, training contract and RTO arrangements.
Eligibility for government funding is assessed individually and cannot be guaranteed by the employer.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
Is18 years of age or older.
Has theright to work in Australiaand can meet the eligibility requirements for the proposed traineeship and training arrangement.
Is genuinely interested in building a career in Early Childhood Education.
Is reliable, responsible and willing to learn.
Can follow instructions and accept guidance from experienced educators and leaders.
Is committed to the safety, wellbeing and positive development of children.
Can build respectful relationships with children, families and team members.
Is comfortable working with children aged 0–5 years.
Is willing and able to complete both workplace and formal study requirements.
Can meet assessment, training and study deadlines and demonstrate satisfactory progress.
Is available to workup to 37.5 hours per week, across 5 days, including availability forat least one opening or closing shift each week.
Supports an inclusive environment where every child, family and educator feels a genuine sense of belonging.
Values and respects First Nations cultures and perspectives.
Essential Requirements
Successful applicants will need to meet all relevant employment, child safety, qualification and regulatory requirements, including:
Minimum age of 18 yearsfor this position.
A currentQueensland Blue Card, or the ability to obtain one before commencing duties where required.
Completion of required child safety and mandatory training.
The ability to meet the requirements of the relevant traineeship and training contract.
Enrolment and satisfactory progression in anapproved early childhood qualificationthrough the nominated RTO.
The ability to work within Amaze's policies, procedures and child safety requirements.
The ability to work under appropriate supervision and within the staffing and educator‐to‐child ratio requirements applicable to the service.
