CNC Machinists & CNC Operators - Perth Metro (North & South of the River) $40 - $55 per hour + overtime & penalties

We are currently seeking experienced CNC Machinists, CNC Operators, and Machine Operators for a range of workshop-based opportunities across the Perth metropolitan area.

About the Roles

We are seeking candidates with experience operating CNC machinery across production, precision machining, and general engineering environments.

Responsibilities may include:
Operating CNC machinery safely and efficiently
Setting up machines, tooling changes, and adjustments
Loading and unloading components
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
Completing quality checks using measuring equipment
Performing basic CNC edits and offsets
General workshop duties and maintaining a safe working environment

Skills & Experience





Suitable candidates will ideally have experience with:
CNC lathes, mills, machining centres, vertical borers, or horizontal borers
CNC control systems including FANUC, Siemens, Mazatrol, Heidenhain, or Okuma
CNC machine setup and operation
Tooling changes and machine adjustments
Manual machining experience (highly regarded)
Precision machining and general workshop practices
Measuring equipment and quality control processes

Requirements

To be considered, you will have:
Previous CNC machining or machine operating experience
Relevant trade qualification or demonstrated industry experience
Experience within a workshop, manufacturing, or engineering setting
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Ability to work safely and effectively within a team workplace
