As we prepare for the upcoming launch of Stage 3 of this exciting development, we are seeking to further strengthen our team with the appointment of an Assistant Village Manager. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in supporting the continued growth and success of a thriving and dynamic community.

About the Role
As an integral member of our village team, you’ll play a key role in fostering a positive resident experience, supporting team operations, and ensuring that Esperance's high standards of service and care are maintained.

Key Responsibilities

Resident Relations
Build solid, respectful relationships with residents, promoting a welcoming and positive setting.
Support lifestyle programs and resident services, prioritizing independence, privacy, and dignity.
Coordinate resident move-in procedures,



including suitability assessments for recent residents.
Collaborate on regular communications to residents, including monthly newsletters and notices.
Engage in continuous improvement efforts to enhance our resident experience.

Operations Support
Assist the Village Manager with daily reporting and operational support, managing the village in their absence.
Oversee the maintenance and presentation of buildings, gardens, and grounds to ensure safety and comfort.
Manage stock control, ordering, and food safety standards for the café, bar and other amenities.
Ensure that supplier and contractor performance meets Esperance's high standards.

Sales and Community Engagement
Handle initial sales inquiries in the absence of the Sales Manager and conduct tours for prospective residents and families as needed.
Liaise with Resident Committees and attend committee meetings when required.

Staff Management
Support the recruitment, induction, and training of village staff.
Oversee rostering and scheduling in line with budget and service requirements.
Organize and evaluate training programs, maintaining accurate records to ensure compliance with policies.
