Our client is seeking qualified Electrical Mechanics for immediate start in Townsville.
Electrical Mechanic with a valid Electrical Work Licence.
Current competencies in Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Perform Rescue from a Live LV Panel.
Possession of a White Card – General Safety Induction for the Construction Industry.
A current, valid Queensland "C" class driver's licence (or equivalent).
Willingness to undergo a pre-employment medical as part of the selection process.
Availability to participate in a skills assessment activity as part of the recruitment process.
Flexibility to travel throughout the operational unit and/or the State as required.
Desirable Qualifications and Conditions:
Valid Queensland MR class driver's licence (or equivalent).




ACMA Registered Open Cabler with endorsements in Structured, Optical Fibre, and Coaxial.
Elevating Work Platform (EWP) Competency (>11m).
Working in Proximity to Traffic Competency (Parts 1 and 2).
Relevant industry experience.
Key Attributes for Success in the Role:
A solid understanding of and respect for legislation and policy frameworks, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
Practical knowledge of electrical installation, street lighting, traffic signals, basic intelligent transport systems, and construction and maintenance principles.
