Practitioner - Domestic & Family Violence
Mercy Community is seeking a passionateDomestic and Family Violence (DFV) Practitionerto join ourFamily and Child Connect (FaCC) teaminBrowns Plains.
This is afull-time rolewhere your skills and dedication will directly support vulnerable children, young people, and families in our community.
We are looking for someone who is committed toquality, compassionate service delivery, and who can help families access theright support at the right time.

Your role will include:
Providing expert domestic and family violence guidance across the FaCC team, from referral to case closure, using evidence-based frameworks such asSafe & Together.
Conducting thorough risk assessments and safety planning in line with DFV and child protection frameworks.
Supporting staff to intervene safely and effectively with both victims (including children) and perpetrators of domestic violence.
Engaging with individuals, families, and community members to provide advice, referrals, and linkages to essential services.
About you:
Bachelor's degree (minimum) in Child Protection, Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, or related field
Sound understanding of the Queensland Child Protection system
Knowledge and appreciation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures




Queensland Provisional Green or above Driver's License
Evidence of current vaccination against whooping cough, or willingness to obtain before starting
