Production Operator / Senior Production Operator
Due to continued growth, we are seeking Production Operators and Senior Production Operators to join our team in Frenchs Forest.

About the Role
As a Production Operator / Senior Production Operator, you will be responsible for manufacturing high-quality cable assemblies to specification, interpreting technical documentation, and ensuring products meet the highest standards of quality and workmanship.
Senior Production Operators will also have the opportunity to support training, mentor team members, contribute to process improvements, and assist in achieving production and quality objectives.

Skills & Experience
Essential
Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, assembly, or electronics environment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality outcomes
Ability to follow work instructions, procedures, and documented processes
Proven ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Highly Regarded
Experience manufacturing electrical, RF, fibre-optic, telecommunications, or Defence-related products
Experience using manual and pneumatic crimping tools
Experience with manual and automated cable stripping equipment
Operation of computerised cable cutting and preparation machinery
Soldering experience
Knowledge of LF and RF cable assemblies
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, wiring schedules, and assembly instructions
Experience training, mentoring, or supporting team members
Exposure to quality systems, continuous improvement initiatives, or manufacturing KPIs
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying improvements
Key Responsibilities
Manufacture cable assemblies and related products in accordance with specifications and work instructions
Interpret schematics, wiring schedules, technical drawings, and production documentation
Perform assembly, crimping, stripping, soldering, testing, and inspection activities as required
Maintain a high level of workmanship, accuracy, and attention to detail
Ensure traceability, documentation, and quality records are accurately completed
Support production schedules and assist the team in meeting delivery commitments
Identify and upscale quality, process, or production issues where required
Assist with training and mentoring less experienced team members
Contribute to continuous improvement and process optimisation initiatives
Maintain a safe, clean, and organised work environment
Work effectively within both production flow lines and individual workstations
