Our client is seeking an experienced and reliableMaintenance Fitterto join their maintenance team based in Penfield Gardens.
This position is ideal for a trade-qualified fitter with strong fault-finding skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Permanent afternoon shift with a 3pm start

Please note:The first two weeks will be completed on day shift for induction, with shared weekend roster requirements approximately 10 times per year.
Key ResponsibilitiesPerform preventative and breakdown maintenance on plant and machinery to minimise downtime
Conduct fault finding, diagnostics and repairs
Complete scheduled maintenance, equipment installations and improvement projects
Maintain accurate maintenance records and spare parts inventory
Ensure all work complies with safety procedures, manufacturer specifications and industry standards
Work closely with production teams to support operational targets
Maintain high housekeeping standards and support continuous improvement initiatives
Demonstrate a strong commitment to Workplace Health & Safety at all times.
About You To be successful in this role, you will have:




Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter, Maintenance Fitter or equivalent
Minimum 3 years' experience in a maintenance environment
Strong mechanical maintenance skills
Excellent fault-finding and troubleshooting abilities
Experience working with preventative maintenance systems
Basic electrical knowledge and troubleshooting skills
Strong understanding of workplace health and safety requirements
