THE ROLE The Business Support Officer provides high-quality administrative, coordination and business support services to the Tenancy Services team within Disability Homes Victoria.
The role contributes to the effective delivery of tenancy services by coordinating business processes, maintaining business systems and records, preparing operational reports and business documentation, supporting service delivery activities and assisting with the planning, coordination and monitoring of operational programs.
Working collaboratively across the team, the Business Support Officer supports productive business operations, data integrity, compliance, continuous improvement and high-quality customer service outcomes.
The role is responsible for ensuring tenancy matters are managed in accordance with the Residential Tenancies Act *****) (Victoria), National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) requirements, departmental policies and operational procedures while identifying emerging risks and escalating matters as appropriate.
Accountabilities
Provide high-quality business, administrative and operational support to the Tenancy Services team by coordinating business processes, supporting operational priorities and contributing to the efficient delivery of tenancy services across Disability Homes Victoria.
Coordinate operational activities and business processes including scheduling, monitoring workflows, supporting resident engagement programs, home visit coordination, meetings, training activities and other operational priorities to ensure work is delivered within agreed timeframes.
Prepare reports, correspondence and business documentation by collecting, maintaining and presenting accurate information to support operational planning, performance monitoring, decision‐making, continuous improvement and management reporting.

This is an NDIS Risk Assessed Role / This is a Key Personnel Role.
Staff appointed to this role at the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing may not commence in role until they have an NDIS Worker Screening Clearance and have provided this detail for recording.

Requirements
Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid work permit or visa.
Preferred candidates will be required to complete pre-employment screening, including a national police check and misconduct screening.
