Shifts & Pay
Casual employment (TFN).
Competitive SCHADS Award rates from$37–$***** per hour(inclusive of 25% casual loading, depending on experience and qualifications).
Shift timesavailable:6am-2pmOR2pm-10pm with 10pm-6am Sleepover.
(Must be Versatile)
SIL sites located atSTRATHFIELDand more.
Consistent ongoing roster

About the Role
We are seeking Disability Support Workers to provide high-quality, person-centred support to participants withcomplex mental health,psychosocialandbehavioural supportneeds.
You'll beresilient,calmunder pressure andconfidentsupportingcomplex behaviourswhile building genuine rapport with participants.
Working as part of a supportive team,
you'll help promote independence, recovery and meaningful outcomes.
Please notethis role supports amale participant.
Personal care is provided by female support workers.
Your responsibilities will include:
ProvidingPersonal Care support
ManagingBehavioursofConcernusing proactive de-escalation strategies.
FollowingPositive Behaviour Support Plans,Medication plansand individual care plans, includingauthorised restrictive practiceswhere required.
UsingTrauma-Informedcare and recovery-oriented approaches to support participants.
Assisting with daily living tasks, meal preparation and medication support.
Supporting participants to engage with their community and achieve their individual goals.
Maintaining accurate incident and shift reporting documentation
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Experience supporting people withcomplex careneeds, includingpersonal care,mental health,psychosocial disability,neurological conditionsandbehavioursofconcern.
Experience or a good understanding ofRestrictive Practices.
Anenthusiasticandengaging personality.
Areliable,flexible, professionaland person-centred approach to support.
We welcome applicants with experience in disability, mental health, psychosocial support, youth work, community services, aged care, residential care, psychology, counselling, allied health or related fields.

Requirements
Current Australian Driver Licence
Own Vehicle
Comprehensive Insurance on vehicle is preferred
NDIS Worker Screening Check
Australian Police Check.
Current First Aid & CPR Certificate.
Working With Children's Check
100 points of ID
