Procurement Specialist - Temporary Contract
Western Sydney - NSW | 6-Month Contract | $54 - $63 per hour + Super
An excellent opportunity exists for an experienced Procurement Specialist to join our client on a six-month temporary contract.
Based onsite, you will support the delivery of procurement and tendering activities while ensuring compliance, governance, and value-for-money outcomes across a range of projects.
About the Role
Reporting to the Procurement Manager, you will:
Manage end-to-end procurement activities, including RFQs, RFTs and Expressions of Interest.
Coordinate tender evaluations and undertake pricing and market analysis.
Prepare procurement reports, recommendations and contract documentation.
Provide procurement advice and support to internal stakeholders.
Ensure procurement processes comply with relevant legislation, policies and procedures.




Support supplier relationship management and procurement planning activities.
About You
To be successful, you will have:
Demonstrated experience managing procurement, tendering and quotation processes.
Solid knowledge of procurement principles and contract management practices.
Excellent analytical, report writing and stakeholder engagement skills.
Experience preparing evaluation reports and procurement recommendations.
The ability to work autonomously while managing multiple priorities.
Relevant tertiary qualifications, a Certificate IV/Diploma in Procurement, or equivalent industry experience.
Local Government or public sector experience will be highly regarded.
