Solar Installer / Roofer / TA / UK&Irish; Qualified Electricians Apply!

The Company

We are currently recruiting for a growing electrical and renewable energy contractor delivering commercial electrical, solar, battery storage and EV charging projects across Sydney. The business has secured a major commercial solar project near Sydney Airport in Mascot and is now looking to expand its installation team.

Shift Pattern & Pay
Standard hours: Monday – Friday 7am - 3:30pm
$45 per hour + super, depending on experience
Overtime available: 2 hours each day plus weekends. Work 58 hours per week
With OT expect $128k-156k + super

The Role

Based on a major commercial project in Mascot, you will work as part of a mixed installation team completing the replacement of a large rooftop solar system.





Your responsibilities will include:
Safely removing existing solar panels, frames and mounting systems
Installing new commercial solar mounting systems and panels
Completing roof penetrations, flashing and sealing while maintaining roof integrity
Supporting electrical installation and cable-routing works
Using hand and power tools across a large commercial rooftop
Working closely with electricians, trade assistants and labourers
Following protected work procedures and installation standards
Assisting the team to complete project milestones efficiently
Working additional weekday and weekend overtime where required

Requirements
Previous roofing, solar, electrical, HVAC, telecommunications or construction experience
Working at Heights ticket & White Card
Drivers Licence
