An established food manufacturing business in the Bathurst region is seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join its engineering team.

The Opportunity

Working as part of a skilled maintenance team, you will be responsible for keeping production equipment operating safely and efficiently while supporting planned maintenance and improvement projects across the site.

Your responsibilities will include:




Responding to electrical breakdowns and minimising downtime
Completing preventative and scheduled maintenance activities
Fault finding across automated production and packaging equipment
Working with motors, VSDs, sensors, conveyors and control systems
Assisting with equipment upgrades and installation projects
Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to improve plant reliability
Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with safety and food quality requirements

About You

We're looking for someone who brings:
A current NSW Electrical Licence
Experience as a Maintenance Electrician within an industrial manufacturing workplace
Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills
Exposure to PLC-controlled equipment (fault finding experience highly regarded)
A proactive approach to maintenance and problem solving
The ability to work well both independently and within a team
